Alec Bradley Cigar Company just announced a re-release of Black Market Filthy Hooligan. The once all candela wrapped cigar is now a sought-after barber pole style cigar, with a light green candela wrapper, Filthy Hooligan also uses a dark Nicaraguan Jalapa wrapper leaf to add richness, meant to accentuate the subtle flavor of the green wrapper.

“In October of 2018 we offered to our tobacconist partners the world over the opportunity for the 2019 release of Filthy Hooligan. Only 2000 boxes were offered and subsequently sold out in 2 weeks!” said Jonathan Lipson, Alec Bradley Director of Sales & Marketing
Along with the sixth release of Filthy Hooligan, the Alec Bradley team will also surprise the American market with an ultra-limited triple-barber-pole version of Filthy Hooligan. They call it Shamrock. Only 500 boxes of ten cigars each were created for this extremely limited project.

The 2019 Filthy Hooligan and Shamrock each measure in at 6 x 50. Alec Bradley have only revealed specifics on the wrappers on Shamrock (Honduran: Candela, Habano Maduro and Habano Seco). The blend for 2019 Filthy Hooligan has not changed. Aside from the dual wrapper leaves, Filthy Hooligan uses Honduran and Panamanian long-fillers with a Sumatra binder.

MSRP for the 2019 Filthy Hooligan will be $9.50 per cigar, and they are available in 20-count boxes. The Shamrock has an MSRP of $11.95 per cigar, and they are available in 10-count boxes. These cigars are shipping now to Alec Bradley retailers.
