Since launching in 2015, Steve Saka’s Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust (DTT) has been a go-to label, as well as a regular topic of conversation for dedicated cigar nerds everywhere. Now, DTT have brought some real firepower to their sales group with the hiring of David Lafferty as VP of Sales. Lafferty was with Drew Estate for eleven years until May of 2018. He then took on the role of Executive Director of the Premium Cigar division at Nat Sherman International, with a departure scheduled for the end of February 2019. Thus, his new role at DTT will commence on March 1st, 2019.
“Dave has a tremendous wealth of hands on experience working with retailers spanning from the smallest brick and mortar shops to the very largest of accounts in the US market. I have no doubt he is going to prove to be tremendous addition to our team, but not solely because of his sales and management experience, but because of who he is as a person.
