HBTC News: Mule Kick LE 2019 Gets a Sumatra Wrapper

Since the Crowned Heads Four Kicks Mule Kick LE was first brought to the cigar market, it has been a release that fans look forward to every year. An interesting thing about this yearly LE is, it gets reinvented each year, yet still holds a strong following. The 2019 iteration will be coming to market soon, so here’s what you have to look forward to.

The Four Kicks Mule Kick LE 2019 has the same combination of binder and filler leaves as previous years, but the wrapper leaf in 2019 is Sumatra (Ecuador). Production will be limited to 2500 boxes (10-count) with a per-cigar MSRP set at $10.95. Production was at Tabacalera La Alianza, S.A. all under the watchful eye of Ernesto Perez-Carillo.

“Mule Kick is an LE that holds a special place in all of our hearts. We’re always looking towards, not necessarily reinventing the wheel, but how can we innovate and improve upon existing ideas. I’ve always maintained that Ernie (Ernesto Perez-Carillo) is the master of Sumatra wrapper and once we smoked the samples, we immediately knew that the Sumatra wrapper added another dimension of flavor and layer of complexity to the Mule Kick brand.” said Jon Huber, Crowned Heads co-founder.
