The Nashville-based Crowned Heads have made a point to keep strong ties to their local roots. The company has a strong connection to Nashville, and a new store exclusive for Smokers Abbey continues that trend. A new Crowned Heads cigar called Sanctuary will launch on April 1st only at Smokers Abbey.
Sanctuary is a 5.5 x 52 trunk-pressed cigar. It is made at Tabacalera La Alianza S.A. in Dominican Republic and uses a Sumatra wrapper grown in Ecuador and binder and filler leaves all from Nicaragua. Total production was limited to only 333 boxes (12-count) and the cigars will have an MSRP of $11.99 for a single and $129.99 per box.
“We’ve been amazed to witness the rapid rise of The Abbey since they began from square one five plus years ago. We’ve always had a mutually supportive local relationship and it’s really been a labor of love to create a shop exclusive for them. ‘Sanctuary’ have been aged over fourteen months, and they are truly a special smoke for a special tobacconist.” said Jon Huber, Crowned Heads founder and co-owner.
