In 2018, Crowned Heads released a special edition of Le Carême called the Le Carême Belicosos Finos. It was such a huge hit for the Nashville based cigar company that Crowned Heads release it again in 2019. While the regular release lines of Le Carême are trunk-pressed, the Belicosos Finos comes only in a 5.5 x 52 round Belicoso vitola.
Le Carême Belicosos Finos uses the same blend as the core line of Le Carême. It has a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, Ecuador (Sumatra) binder, and filler leaves from Nicaragua. Production will be limited to 2,500 boxes of 12 cigars. MSRP will not increase over the $10/cigar price from last year. The cigars are rolled entirely by hand at Tabacalera La Alianza, S.A., Santiago, Dominican Republic.
“When we released the 2018 LE, we knew we had something special, but we really had no idea that the Le Careme Belicoso Fino would go on to do what it did.” said Crowned Heads co-founder, Jon Huber, “We actually had made the decision to produce the LE 2019 in September of last year, well before the annual ‘awards season’ came into play. We also made the decision early on to increase the total production for 2019.”
