Black Label Trading Company (BLTC) is pleased to announce the release of BENEDICTION as a Smoker’s Abbey exclusive. Benediction is hand crafted at Fabrica Oveja Negra in Esteli, Nicaragua. This small batch exclusive was originally released in 2013, when Black Label Trading Co. first launched. It will be available at the Austin, Memphis, and Nashville locations this month.
Benediction is back and we are very excited for the new launch of it. The new artwork was created to reflect the aesthetics of the shops that combine perfectly with the BLTC design style. BLTC established a great relationship with the owners of Smoker’s Abbey over the years, so this just felt like a natural fit for their next shop exclusive. The release is a tweak of the original Benediction in two new vitolas. “We stayed true to the original blend in body, strength and wrapper but added a touch more spice and complexity,” says James Brown, creator of BLTC and partner at Fabrica Oveja Negra.
