In the ongoing saga of the uncertainty surrounding the Premium Cigar Association (PCA), the announcement was made today that two of the staff members will not be furloughed as originally announced on July 1st. The PCA sent a press release today with the details.
Earlier today, Executive Director Scott Pearce of the Premium Cigar Association (PCA) hosted a call with PCA Member Media Organizations to announce temporary changes to PCA staffing and programs. The changes were also announced in a press release to be a result of the enduring effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting economic hardships. The entire PCA staff, including Scott Pearce, will be furloughed, with benefits, as the board and executive committee work through the financial challenges currently faced by the association.
