HBTC Review: E.P. Carrillo Pledge Sojourn

There's no doubt that E.P. Carrillo has been on a fantastic run of success in the last few years. Only two short years after the Encore Majestic was awarded Cigar of the Year by Cigar Aficionado, the Pledge Sojourn was given that same top spot in that illustrious list. HBTC Review: CAO Vision

HBTC Review: CAO Vision

The original CAO Vision was introduced to the premium cigar market back in 2007. In that original release, the Vision was available in a variety of sizes, and with a different blend of tobaccos but this 2020 version is only made in a 7 x 50 Churchill. The original Vision was also selected for a spot on the 2007 Cigar Aficionado Cigar of the Year list. The packaging for the 2020 release is elaborate, with a high-gloss finish and built in LED lights. Here is Matt's review of the 2020 CAO Vision.

First, Alan Rubin discussed it when he was our guest on Episode 41. Alec and Bradley Rubin also talked a little about it on Episode 99. Here is Matt's review of the Project 40 5.50

HBTC Review: Arturo Fuente Rare Pink Signature

HBTC Review: Arturo Fuente Rare Pink Signature

Even with all of the respect and accolades given to the brand, the Fuente family remains humble and they strive to serve whenever possible. One of the most recent examples of that service is the Rare Pink line of cigars. Essentially the Rare Pink line is a unique new blend of the famed Hemmingway line. A portion of the proceeds from every box sold goes directly to The American Cancer Society-Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
